I started my fitness journey in a small high school gym getting ready for football season as a junior in high school. I developed deep bonds with some of my teammates. Some were my peers and gym partners while others sought out my help in preparing them for the football season. It was during this time that I realized that I truly enjoyed helping others reach their fitness goals.
I was never quite the football star that I had hoped to be, but since high school I have participated in powerlifting meets, ran 5k’s, marathons, spent countless hours aiding others in their fitness endeavors, obtained a B.S and M.S in Exercise Physiology, and joined the armed services as a Military Officer specializing in Supply Chain Management. I have achieved a great deal of success in all of these endeavors. I have never capitalized monetarily on my fitness knowledge and personally, I never intend to.
My goal with this blog is to post my workouts, fitness tips, life tips and answer any questions that come my way. I am open to exploring almost any topic within the realm of health and fitness. I am well versed in weight lifting, fitness programming, speed and agility, running up to about a 10k (anymore is fairly new to me), and nutrition. If there are any topics that you would like to see, email me and if I feel I can tackle the topic, I will blog about it.
